PLASTER
RESTORATION PROCESS

Mannequin Head

This fragile, plaster Mannequin Head was more than 60 years old when she arrived for restoration. There was a big hole in the back of her head, and a piece was missing off her neck. These areas needed to be completely rebuilt. Then the painting needed to be reworked matching its original finish.
